“A unique take on this kind of instrument.  I love the raw sound, the instability, the surprising little performances that make it come to life.  All of the patches are instantly inspiring, and it made me reach for different chords and sequences.  Playing the lower registers in some patches is amazing - so many rich and surprising textures.  Things are evolving and changing perpetually, especially when you play chords, and it's just endlessly interesting. Vita through Umbra are gorgeous to play as beautiful, emotional patches.  Aurora starts to get a bit of a hint of horror/unsettling, and it ramps beautifully through the rest.  Oblivium - holy shit! - that one made me laugh out loud in surprise, it's so good.  Nothing is so specific that it becomes a one-and-done instrument. The UI is great.  All intuitive and sensible.  I love the moon slider!!  The individual patch icons are so cool - the whole thing has a great mysterious feel and with hints of the alchemical, which I find super fun.  It's got every control I would want, and doesn't complicate unnecessarily.  The addition of the processed sounds is brilliant and adds a lot.  I especially dig the SOMA patch - it makes it sound like a really unique, unstable, modern synth patch, and with the filtered moon-slider it really comes to life.”

The free version only allows you to use one articulation, but that articulation sounds (and looks) absolutely beautiful. The GUI is slick and professional looking, and the sounds are top-notch. I'm not sure exactly what the built-in reverb is modeled off of, but it can get pretty huge. I can't wait for this to be released and would love it if Lo made a Solo Cello library like this.

Honestly, this violin sample is pretty damn good! It sounds really realistic and has a nice emotional vibe to it. The quality is solid, and it fits easily into different types of beats and songs. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some dope violin sounds. Pretty sick overall!

The only downside is not being able to afford the full version after having had a taste of this. Absolutely FANTASTIC sound and texture - and of course - the GUI.

I found what i was searching for long time. It's time to stop looking longingly at plugins that take all my salary out of my pockets. Yes. It's a day of joy. I can fill my library with strings and piano and other super real instruments.

What a wonderful library - cannot wait for the full version. The sounds being stretched out like this seems to give you an entire string section, if you wanted it. Also loving the GUI too - I've never seen DS used in this way before.

Down loaded this earlier today and have only played about with it for 10 minutes but the quality of the sound and character shone through immediately. Even with only the one articulation this is very, very good. The GUI is lovely, just needs slightly bigger type on the smallest commands which is the only thing that makes me hang back from giving that a full five stars, everything else though is brilliantly conceived. This will be a definite upgrade when the paid version is completed. Well done Sir.

The characterful sound immediately stands out. The instrument thrives on its fragility and humanity rather than pure perfection. These imperfections give the violins a wonderful emotional depth, making them perfect for minimalist or cinematic arrangements. What also stands out is the graphical interface. It’s not only beautifully designed, but without exaggeration the best GUI I’ve seen for Decent Sampler so far. Congratulations on that!
